Rabbi Dov Winston
Rabbi Dov Winston became the Senior Rabbi of Congregation Beth Sholom in the Summer of 2022. He received his rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Jewish Studies from Yeshiva University and an MSW from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Rabbi Winston has previously served as the Rabbi of the Young Israel of Merrick on Long Island and Congregation Baron Hirsch in Memphis, TN.
In July 2016, Rabbi Winston married his incredible wife, Rena. Originally from St. Louis, MO, she has a bachelors from Stern College and a master’s in occupational therapy from SUNY Downstate. Rena has worked as an OT for multiple populations from children to seniors. Rena loves being a Rebbetzin and running youth programs, overseeing women’s learning opportunities, and connecting with members on a personal level.
They have four beautiful children, Leora, Shalva, Shoshi and Gavi who are always cute, even when they are making trouble.
